Acia Eugene Loper, age 83, of Lucedale died Saturday, January 12, 2019 at George Regional Rehab of Lucedale, MS. Mr. Loper was born May 1, 1935 in Richton, MS. He is the son of the late Huey P. Loper and the late Ludie Ree (Hyatt) Loper. He married Loy V. James Loper, who predeceased him. He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilders as a Boilermaker. Mr. Loper was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by two daughters: Wanda Loper and Emma Loper, and one son: Wayne (Elizabeth) Loper; one sister: Charlotte Dickerson and one brothers: Donnie Loper and , 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren

Predeceased by his wife, Loy V. Loper, brother, Joe Loper, brother, Charles Loper, brother, Robert Loper, brother, Henry Loper, brother, Douglas Loper, son, Joe Loper, son, Stevie Loper, and granddaughter, Regina Loper

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 114 Old Mobile Hwy, Lucedale, MS. Burial will be in James Family Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.
