Albennie Dye, age 85, of Lucedale passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Dye was born April 4, 1934 in Leakesville, MS. She is the daughter of the late Ely and the late Flora (Brown) Greene. She married Samuel Norris Dye on February 3, 1951. She was predeceased by her husband on August 14, 2007.

She was employed by Smith Manor Assisted Living Home as a Nurse Aid.

She is survived by daughter: Jane Hyatt and son: Sam (Jan) Dye; three grandchildren, Samuel (Ann) Hyatt, Crystal (Terry) Stewart, Danielle (Jonathan) Rodgers; eight great grandchildren, Jessica (Nathan) Rogers, Erica (Jarrett) Hyatt-McCarra, Tyler (Brittany) Hyatt, Kaleigh (Jimmy) Franklin, Jake Stewart, Ryver Dye, Blakeleigh Rodgers, Jaxon Rodgers; five great great grandchildren, Kylee Rogers, Keaton Rogers, Kenley McCarra, Langston Hyatt, Emberly Hyatt. three sisters: Louise Smith, Doraldean Heathcock and Willie Ann Davis.

Calling hours will be Monday, April 22, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Sigler Funeral Home Inc.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 10:00 am at Sigler Funeral Home Inc., with Bro. Sam McClure officiating. Burial will be in Dye Hyatt Cemetery.
