Alberta Hankins, age 96, of Lucedale passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at George
Regional Rehab of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Hankins was born December 22, 1919 in Lucedale, MS.
He is the son of the late Joseph and the late Frances (Brewer) Elbert. He married Joseph
Hankins; he predeceased her on December 21, 2007.
He was employed by Keesler Air Force Base as a Sales Clerk.
He is survived by: Two Nieces / Caregivers Pat Howard and Shirley Davis. A host of Nieces and
Nephews.
The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Sigler Funeral Home, with
Bro. Joseph Heflin and Bro. B.J. Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
