Alecia M. Tanner, age 89, of Lucedale died Friday, April 13, 2018 at Glen Oaks Nursing Home of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Tanner was born March 15, 1929 in Jackson Co, MS. She is the daughter of the late George Dewey and the late Eva L. (Lundy) Mumme. She married Vaudie "Bill" Tanner who preceded her Home.

She was employed by Lucedale Sportswear as a Seamstress.

She is survived by two daughters: Cynthia (Sonny) Tilley of Lucedale, MS and Susie (Butch) Watson of Wilmer, AL,; one brother: Eddie Mumme of Pascagoula, MS; son-in-law, Gary Johnson; 8 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her daughter, Yolanda Johnson

The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Tanner Chapel, , Lucedale, MS with Jerry Goff officiating. Burial will be in Tanner Cemetery, Lucedale.

Calling hours will be Monday, April 16 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Tanner Chapel.
