Allen Creighton Walker, age 79, of Lucedale, MS died Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Mobile Infirmary of Mobile, AL. Mr. Walker was born April 18, 1943 in Brewton, AL. He is the son of the late Woodrow Walker and the late Elizabeth (Dunlap) Walker. He married Barbara Kay Walker.
Mr. Walker was a lifelong farmer, lifelong educator, coach, a sheriff deputy for the George County Sheriff Department and retired from the George County Cooperative. Allen was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Kay Walker, daughter: Natalie (Rich) Shears and step daughter Jennifer Ladnier, and son: Brent (Kelly) Walker, 2 step sons, Eddie (Carrie) Verrett and Keith (Amanda) Verrett, one brother: Kenneth (Clara) Walker; cousin, Gerald Walker.
Granddaughters; Elizabeth, Kenzie, Kara, Kolbi, Kenley, Kamryn, Daisie, Millie
Grandsons; Cameron, Ryan, Gabe, Max, Wylie, Keagan, Caden

The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 14146 Hwy 26 West, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Bruce McKenzie officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Shady Grove Baptist Church.
