Alton R. Shepheard, Jr, age 75, of Lucedale died Monday, September 7, 2020 at Forrest General Hospital of Hattiesburg, MS.  Mr. Shepheard was born September 30, 1944 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Alton and the late Celia (Davis) Shepheard Sr.  He married Pauline R Sylvester.  He was a retired Construction Forman.

He is survived by his wife: Pauline R (Sylvester) Shepheard, three daughters: Audrey Davis, Cynthia McCormack, Melina Shepheard, step daughter, Rhonda Brown, and one son: Tommy Shepheard; one sister: Octavia Dickerson; 6 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Larry Havard officiating.  Burial will be in Holmes Baptist Church Cemetery.
