Alvin L. Brannon, age 78, of Lucedale passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at George Regional Medical Center in Lucedale, MS.  Mr. Brannon was born January 15, 1943 in Leakesville, MS. He is the son of the late Pinkey and the late Martha (Busbee) Brannon.  He married Betty Hasford.

He served in the Air Force.  He was employed as a construction worker in the pipe department. HE was a member of the Mt. Calvary United Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his wife: Betty Brannon, daughter: Shannon Brannon; one Granddaughter Autumn Rayne Brannon; three sisters: Sue Parker, Fay Brannan, and Nell Cooley (Kenneth) Long; host of nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his siblings: Ruthie Dykes, Melton Bolen, Vina Mae (Buster) Middleton, Buddy Brannan, "B" (Bob) Ellis, Nadine (Bud) Parnell, Inez (Terrell) Todd, and Marion Cooley.

The funeral will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Mt. Calvary United Pentecostal Church, 9379 Old Hwy 63, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Jimbo Roberts officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery, Leakesville, MS.

Calling hours will be Monday, June 7, 2021 from 9:30-11:00AM at Mt. Calvary United Pentecostal Church, 9379 Old Hwy 63 Lucedale, MS 30452.
