Amelia Lucile Welford, age 88, of Sevierville, TN passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at home in Sevierville.  Mrs. Welford was born February 7, 1933 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Roy and the late Lucile (Brannan) Welford.  She married Marion Welford on September 1, 1951.  She was predeceased by her husband, Marion Welford on April 13, 2017.

She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Lucedale.

She is survived by one daughter: Peggy (Jerry) Wallace and one son: Tim Welford; five grandchildren, Chris Wallace, Scott Wallace (Vanessa), Kathryn Lucille Wallace, Matthew Welford, Lauren Welford Childers (Dustin); four great grandchildren, Noah, Benjamin, Amelia Jane, Samuel.

The Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Rocky Creek Cemetery Pavilion, 1220 Rocky Creek Road, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Don Boone officiating.  Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery, Lucedale on Saturday, October 16, 2021.

Calling hours will be Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 10:30am-11:00am at Rocky Creek Cemetery Pavilion.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00pm Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Rocky Creek Baptist Church.
