Annie Octavia Sumrall, age 79, formerly of Benndale, MS passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at home in Diamondhead, MS. Mrs. Sumrall was born October 2, 1938 in Bay Minnette, AL. She is the daughter of the late William E and the late Mildred Octavia (Gilbert) Howell Sr.. She married Ellis R. Sumrall on January 9, 1957.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband: Ellis R. Sumrall, three daughters: Lynn (John) Maples, Brenda (Bill) Ford and Jana (Terry) Overstreet, and two sons: Ray Sumrall and Shane Sumrall, ; She also has 12 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.



The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Frank Kendrick and Rev. Lamar Loper officiating. Burial will be in Sumrall Family Cemetery 158 Gene Sumrall Rd. Lucedale, MS.
