Audrey Nell Rogers, age 89, of Lucedale died Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Smith Manor of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Rogers was born March 25, 1930 in Agricola, MS. She is the daughter of the late Harmon Pope and the late Retha (Brown) Pope. She married J. C. Rogers Jr on December 1, 1945 at Leakesville, MS. She was predeceased by her husband, J. C. Rogers Jr on August 6, 2000. She retired from Singing River Electric as a Supervising Office Manager.

She is survived by two daughters: Faye (Doug) Husley of Gulfport, MS and Bonnie Smiley of Grand Bay, AL,; four sisters: Eloise Stringfellow of Mobile, AL, Mildred Blass of Saraland, AL, Leona Calhoun of Saraland, AL and Thelma Timbes of Mobile, AL,; grandchild, Sharman (Wesley) Fricks; grandchild, Jacob (Andrew Monk) Rogers; grandchild, Misty (Lee) Pounds; grandchild, Carol (Tyler) Dupree; 5 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her son, Calvin Rogers

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Grant McLain officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery, Lucedale.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 13 from 10:00am-11:00am at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.
