Barbara Ann Havard, age 85, of Lucedale passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Havard was born December 20, 1935 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Robert E. Varnadore and the late Mildred O (Weeks) Varnadore. She married the late Glen Havard. She was a retired Nurse, working with Dr. Dan Gonzalez for 25 years. Barbara also ran a game room in Lucedale that helped shape young men and womens lives for the better. Mrs. Havard was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter: Shelly (W.C.) Shepherd and three sons: Keith Havard, Mike Havard and Mitchell Havard, two sisters: Roberta Ann (Don) Morris and Betty Ann (Robert) Briscoe, and two brothers: Buddy (Laura) Varnadore and Roger Varnadore,
21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husband, Glen Havard, son, Eddie Havard, grandchild, Brein Havard, grandchild, Morgan Havard, parents, Robert & Mildred Varnadore, and mother-in-law, Lilly Bell Havard. 2 sisters, 5 Brothers-in-Law, 5 Sisters-in-Law: Martha & Guy Middleton, Annette & Tommy Gibson, Robert Briscoe, Steve & Francis Havard, Jack & Ernestine Smith, Doris Andrews, Faye Smith, Ruth Burlison, one niece, Cindy Middleton, two nephews, Johnny Brannan and Mark Brannan.

The funeral will be held 11:00am on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 12153 Hwy 613, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Jason Matheny officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Lucedale.

Calling hours will be Monday, December 28 from 9:00-11:00am at Union Missionary Baptist Church.
