Barbara Jean Parker, age 78, of Lucedale died Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Parker was born July 23, 1940 in Lakeland, FL. She is the daughter of the late Ben and the late Mattie (Smith) Hampton. She married Phillip A. Parker Jr. on June 14, 1966 at Lakeland, FL. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Homemaker.

She is survived by her husband: Phillip A. Parker Jr., four daughters: Ronda (Danny) Turner, Karen (Todd) Ham, Teresa (Junior) Parker and Sadie Denise (Ronnie) Parker, one brother: Jesse Hampton; grandchild, Tabatha (Shane) Cochran; grandchild, Michael (Cassie) Turner; grandchild, T. J. (Brandy) Ham; grandchild, Deven (Jessica) Ham; grandchild, Gary Parker; grandchild, Amanda (Clint) Lott; grandchild, Jessica Brook (Travis) DuBose; 14 great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held 12:00 pm on Friday, April 5, 2019 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Eddie Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale.
