Barbara J. Showles, age 84, of Lucedale died Monday, April 8, 2019 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Showles was born October 29, 1934 in Mobile, AL. She is the daughter of the late Roe and the late Ruth (Lundy) Davis. She married Marvin Showles. She was predeceased by her husband on December 10, 2009. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grand Mother and Home Maker.

She is survived by one daughter: Michele (Joe) Holley and three sons: Marvin "Bud" (Trudy) Showles Jr., Dwight (Sandra) Showles and Michael (Rilla) Showles
8 Grandchildren: Dennis (Stacy) Showles, Joshua (Heather) Showles, Cole (Samantha) Holley, Ashley (Peyton) Brazell, Brandy Holley, Austin Showles, Travis (Erin) Lee, Adam (Allison) Walker

Predeceased by her husband, Marvin L. Showles Sr., sister, Alice Bohannon, and brother, Donald Davis

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Kenny Odom officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale.
