Betty Jo "Mrs. Jimmie" Nichelson, age 92, of Lucedale passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at home in Lucedale.  Mrs. Nichelson was born February 7, 1928 in Mobile, AL. She is the daughter of the late J. W. and the late Hazel (Ready) Hutcherson. She married Roy Nichelson who preceded her in death on March 31, 2003.

She is survived by one daughter, Eleanor "Kay" Flowers and one son, Glenn Roy Nichelson, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by  her son, Mitchell Newbill .

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale on Saturday, July 18, 2020.
