Jean C. Pierce, age 87, of Lucedale passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at home in Lucedale. Mrs. Pierce was born July 15, 1931 in Laurel, MS. She is the daughter of the late Lloyd T. and the late Effie (Lane) Chisholm. She married William R. "Billy" Pierce, he predeceased her on March 1, 2008.

She was employed by the George County School System as a teacher assistant at Agricola Elementary School.

She is survived by two daughters: Kathy P. (Tim) Mason and Jeannie Pierce (Debby Wilmot), and one son: Bill (Kathy) Pierce; She also has three grandchildren, Andy (Jessica) Mason, Adam (Jeana) Mason, Samantha Pierce. Five great granddaughters; Kathryn Mason, Alyson Mason, Caryann Mason, Vivian Mason and Jane Evelyn Mason.



The Memorial service will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Agricola Baptist Church, 7268 Barton-Agricola Road, Agricola, MS. Burial will be in Agricola Cemetery.

I lieu of flower donations be made to Dixie Adoptables at the Lucedale Animal Shelter.
