Mrs. Betty Sue Tew, age 86, of Richton went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Perry County Nursing Center of Richton, MS. Mrs. Tew was born April 20, 1934 in Glade, MS. She is the daughter of the late Carlton Simmons and the late Erma Simmons. She married the late Edgar "Boots" Tew who preceded her Home on November 17, 2003. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, son Billy James Sanders, 2 brothers J.C. Simmons, Ralph Simmons, 2 sisters Ruby Helen Passon and Irma Jean Passon. She was a loving Mother, Wife, Grandmother and Homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter: Phyllis Tew Walters of Laurel, MS and five sons: Carl Sanders of AZ, Mike David Sanders of Lucedale, MS, Charles (Laura) Neely of Petal, MS., William "Eddie" (Amber) Tew of Belleview, MS and Nathan (Courtney) Tew of Lucedale, MS,; 21 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 6 great great Grandchildren.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Bro David Hanks officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale.
