Funeral services will be held for Beverly Ann Hedegaard, 60, of Lucedale on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Lucedale. Interment followed at Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Larry White officiating.

Beverly passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019, at her home in Lucedale. Born December 22, 1958, in Mobile, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Bert Dunnam and the late Patsy (Riser) Dunnam. She married Harvey Lee Hedegaard on October 26, 1980, at Gautier.

Beverly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, which she faithfully kept decorated with floral arrangements and Christian holiday furnishings. A gardening enthusiast, Beverly was a long-time member of the Ivy League Garden Club and made everything and everyone that she touched more lovely.

She is survived by her devoted husband of almost 39 years, Lee Hedegaard; two sons, Jeremy (Karen) Hedegaard and Michael Hedegaard; soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Rebecca Varnadore; two sisters, Renee (Joe) Johnson and Beth Dunnam; two granddaughters, Annalee Grace Hedegaard and Katie Lynn Hedegaard, all of Lucedale; and an aunt, Louise Fryfogle of Ocean Springs.

Beverly was predeceased by her three brothers, Michael Dunnam, Randy Dunnam, and Steve Dunnam.

Pallbearers included Buddy Horn, Jeff Howell, Steve Tipton, Frankie Massey, Mike Smith, Wayne Norris, Aaron Accord, and Mark Maples.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Beverly Hedegaard Fund at First United Methodist Church at P.O. Box 845, Lucedale, Miss. 39452.
