Bobbie Jean Grove Eley, age 87, of Lucedale, MS passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023 in Metairie, LA.  Mrs. Eley was born October 13, 1935 in Germania, MS. She is the daughter of the late William Frank and the late Mamie Jane (Dykes) Riser.

Mrs. Eley was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Lucedale. Not only will she be remembered as being exceedingly kind and generous, but also that she was an extraordinarily hard-working person.

She is survived by one son: Jeremy E. Grove of Arabi, LA; one great-grandson: Leroy A. Grove.

Predeceased by her Husbands, Winton L. Grove and Thomas J. Eley Sr.; daughters: Nanette E. Grove and Suzanne L. Larkin; son-in-law, Roy A. Larkin; sisters: Ruby L. Terrell, Frankie J. Havard, and Elsie M. Edgar; brother: Freddy C. Riser;

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main Street Lucedale, MS with Rev. Eddie Davidson officiating.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.
