Camble Owen Byrd, age 82, of Lucedale passed away Monday, November 17, 2025 at Forrest General Hospital of Hattiesburg, MS.  Mr. Byrd was born November 25, 1942 in Benndale, MS. He is the son of the late Joseph Owen and the late Laura Louise (Goff) Byrd. He married Margaret DeCoste on December 16, 1988.

Mr. Byrd retired as a general foreman from Flour Daniels. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Byrd; stepson, Jason (Renae) Hunt; son, Ronnie Byrd; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Elaine Emmons; numerous other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by parents, Joseph Owen and Laura Louise Byrd; son, Michael Byrd; son, Danny Byrd; Infant Daughter; siblings, Barbara, Steve, Prentiss, Doris, and James.

The funeral will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.  Burial will be in Antioch Methodist Cemetery, Benndale.
