Mr. Carl Allen Cumbest, age 67, of Lucedale, MS, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026. Mr. Cumbest was born July 20, 1958 to the late Carbury "Buck" Cumbest and the late Bonnie Whitner Cumbest. He married Tressia Cochran.

Carl is survived by his wife, Tressia "Terri" Cumbest; sons, Matthew Miller, Lemon Rose Cumbest; stepsons, Keith Miller and Aaron Goff; grandchildren, Damian Alvarada, C.J. Keel, Tyler Miller, Torie Weber, Selen Keel, Mylee Miller; brother, Bo Cumbest; a host of nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his father and mother: Buck and Bonnie Cumbest; sisters: Delphia Faye Cumbest and Linda Joyce Garcia.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 11:00am at Second Change Ministries, 2184 Twin Creek Rd. Lucedale, MS 39452. The visitation will be Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 10:00am-11:00am at Second Chance Ministries, 2184 Twin Creek Rd. Lucedale, MS 39452. Burial will be in Corinth Baptist Church, 231 Fig Farm Rd. Lucedale, MS 39452.

Pallbearers include: Maxi Heardon, Lionel Heardon, Roger Kendrix, Gabe Howell, Damian Alvarada, and Andrew Reynolds. Honorary pallbearers include: Stanley Cochran and Gary Miller.
