Carlene Winifred Payne, age 70, of Tyler, AL, died Monday, March 16, 2020. Mrs. Payne was born June 26, 1949, in New Hampshire. She is the daughter of the late Carl Watson Smith and the late Francise Eleanor Appleton Smith. Mrs. Payne's husband, Rodney Michael Payne preceded her in death on May 22, 2015. They were married October 15, 1967.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 11:30am from the Sigler Funeral Home Chapel, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS. Visitation will be at Sigler Funeral Home from 11:00am to 11:30am. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale, MS immediately following the memorial service.
