Carol Fairley, age 75, of Leaf passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026 at home.  Mrs. Fairley was born March 23,1950 in Hattiesburg, MS. She is the daughter of the late Huelon Hollis and the late Mable (Fairley) Breland Sr. She married Bobby Gene Fairley.

Mrs. Fairley was a graduate of McLain High School class of 1968. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church. She retired from Singing River Electric Power Association after 41 years as a dispatcher. She enjoyed her yearly trips with "The Golden Girls", Sandra Vise, Debra Pierce and Dianne Davis; but her grandchildren were the absolute light of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby "Gene" Fairley; son, Bobby (Lynn) Fairley of Lucedale, MS; daughter, Jennifer (Gary) Dueitt of Foley, AL; grandchildren, Trenton Fairley, Kamdyn (Caleb) Strickland, Caymon Dueitt, Bayler Dueitt, Peighlyn Dueitt, Cooper Dueitt; one great grandchild on the way;  sister, Peggy (Ricky) O'Neal of Sebastopol, MS; brother, Hollis (Dorthy) Breland of Leaf, MS; a host of nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by sister, Glenda Roberts of Leaf, MS.

The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 19, 2026 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Jason Holland officiating.  Burial will be in Joe P. Fairley Cemetery, McLain.

Calling hours will be Monday, January 19, 2026 from 10:30am-1:00pm at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.

Pallbearers will be Trenton Fairley, Caleb Strickland, Caymon Dueitt, Austin Breland, Weston Breland, Brian Havard. Honorary pallbearers will be Bayler Dueitt and Cooper Dueitt.
