Carolyn E. Carpenter, age 91, of Lucedale died Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at George Regional Rehab of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Carpenter was born November 28, 1927 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late John W. and the late Gertrude (Woodard) Eubanks. She married Clyde Carpenter. She was predeceased by her husband on November 11, 2014. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Mrs. Carpenter was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters: Linda (Roger) Brown and Joyce (John) Rutherford, and one son: Robby (Marian) Horne; grandchild, Daphne (Tommie) Davis; grandchild, Meredith (Travis) Lackey; grandchild, Matthew (Christine) Rutherford; grandchild, Russell (Laura Leigh) Rutherford; grandchild, Austin Horne; grandchild, Rachel Horne; 7 great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS. Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery, Lucedale.
