Carrie B. Havard, age 94, of Lucedale died Sunday, January 7, 2018 at home in Lucedale. Mrs. Havard was born August 8, 1923 in Sallis, MS. She is the daughter of the late James Andrew and the late Allie Iola (Redd) Lucas. She married James H. Havard on October 12, 1946.

She retired from George County Hospital as a Nurse.
Mrs. Havard was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist since 1952.

She is survived by her husband: James H. Havard, one daughter: Bonnie (Bill) Mims of Tupelo, MS and one son: Marshall (Gail) Havard of Lucedale, MS; granddaughter, Nikki (Chad) Cochran of Hurley, MS; grandson, Braden (Phala) Mims of Thomasville, MS; grandson, Mark (Anna) Havard of Vancleave, MS; grandson, Chad (Aletha) Mims of Tupelo, MS;
10 Grandchildren: Taylor Cochran, Alexia Cochran, Lainey Cochran, Jack Mims,
Anna Madelyn Mims, Hiram Havard, Hudson Havard, Olivia Kate Mims, Marley Mims,
Will Mims

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 2165 Rocky Creek Road, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Greg Barker officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery, Lucedale.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 10 from 9:00-11:00am at Rocky Creek Baptist Church.
