Casper Icem Mergenschroer, age 91, of Lucedale died Monday, April 1, 2019 at USA Medical of Mobile, AL. Mr. Mergenschroer was born July 17, 1927 in Millary, AL. He is the son of the late Theodore and the late Ida (Sullivan) Mergenschroer. He married Ruby Lynn Tanner on April 19, 1953 in McLain, MS. He retired from Farmer Supply Company as a Manager. Mr. Mergenschroer was a member of Refuge United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Ruby Lynn Tanner Mergenschroer , three daughters: Jane Mergenschroer of Lucedale, MS, Tonya (Lee) Harbison of Lucedale, MS and Paula (Keith) Hinton of Lucedale, MS, and one son: Larry (Susan) Mergenschroer of Lucedale, MS; He also has six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. grandchild, Mallory (Daniel) Hoerner; grandchild, William Bonner; grandchild, Jared Cole; grandchild, Paulina Hinton; grandchild, Tyler Mergenschroer; grandchild, LeAnn Harbison; Great grandchild, Bently Hoerner; Great grandchild, Emmalyn Rose Hoerner; Great grandchild, Marina Bonner.

Predeceased by his brother, Clarence Mergenschroer, brother, Allen Mergenschroer, In-Laws, Murdock & Carrie Tanner, daughter, Tabatha Bonner, son-in-law, Terry Bonner, and grandchild, Jeremy Bonner.

The funeral will be held 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Harrell Moore officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale.
