Charles J. "CJ" Mason, age 86, of Lucedale died Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS. Mr. Mason was born October 15, 1934 in Greene County, MS. He is the son of the late Scott Mason and the late Lillian (Eubanks) Mason. He married Barbara Ann Dickerson who predeceased him on February 17, 2013. Mr. Mason was a Deacon at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church, and a member of the R P Bowen Masonic Lodge. He was employed by Scott Paper Co. in their Maintenance Sheet Metal Department. He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by one daughter: Patricia Anne (Mike) Henderson; granddaughter, Lindsey Rebekah (Adam) Champagne; granddaughter, Sara Elizabeth Henderson; Great Grandson, Samuel Michael Champagne; Future Great Grandson, Sawyer Mason Champagne; Future Great Granddaughter, Stella Katherine "Kate" Champagne; one sister: Carolyn (Newburn) Naramore, one brother: Edward (Dickie) Malone; brother-in-law, Ruland Devane Parker.

Predeceased by his wife, Barbara Ann Mason, daughter, Lillian Rebecca Mason, sister, Linda Easterling, brother, Daniel Malone, sister, Audrey Elizabeth Parker, parents, Scott and Lillian Mason

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Dr. Don Boone officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Creek Cemetery, Lucedale.
