Charles B. "Buddy" Keel, Jr, age 87, of Lucedale passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025. Mr. Keel was born June 3, 1938 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Charles B. and the late Bessie (Newsom) Keel Sr.  He married Mary Harvison; She preceded him in death.

Mr. Keel was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. He was a self-employed brick mason. He loved to hunt, fish, and go on mission trips. He travelled all over with missions. He also loved to hunt for arrowheads.

He is survived by sons, Chris (Kathryn) Keel, Monty (Rita) Keel and Danny (Sandy) Keel; grandchildren, Heath Keel, Alicia Keel, Matthew (Morgan) Keel, Mason Keel, Adam Brown, Jacob Brown; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Burt Keel.

Preceded in death by wife, Mary Keel; son, Randy Keel; parents, Charles and Bessie Keel; sisters, Ann, Ruth, Polly, Lucy, Ruby, and Katherine.

The funeral will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main Street, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Shane Giles, Rev. Alan Eubanks, and Rev. Terry Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery.
