Charles Rudolf McKissick, age 83, of Lucedale, MS died Thursday, June 9, 2022 at home in Lucedale. Mr. McKissick was born October 13, 1938 in Meridian, MS. He is the son of the late James L. McKissick and the late Annie Lee (Chapman) McKissick. He married Charlene Perry on February 28, 2008. Mr. McKissick was a retired self-employed home builder.

He is survived by his wife: Charlene (Perry) McKissick , two daughters: Charlotte (Bo) Mills and Teri Cochran, and seven sons: Charles McKissick Jr., Carlton (Stella) McKissick, Kip (Ophelia) McKissick, Danny (Susan) McKissick, Chris McKissick, Ronald (Tina) Perry and Joshua (Michelle) Dees,; two sisters: Joyce Weaver and Juanita (David) Gooch, and two brothers: David McKissick, Dan (Patricia) McKissick ; He also has twenty-two grandchildren and many many great grandchildren

Predeceased by his 1st Wife, Marjorie McKissick and a brother, Joseph L. McKissick

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Rocky Creek Cemetery, 1220 Rocky Creek Road, Lucedale, MS with Bro. Phillip McKissick officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Creek Cemetery.
