Charles Henry Sims, age 79, of Cave Creek, AZ died Sunday, April 7, 2019 at home in Cave Creek, AZ. Mr. Sims was born December 31, 1939 in Philadelphia, MS. He is the son of the late Henry O. and the late Leona (Arledge) Sims. He retired from a construction company as a Salesman. Charles was a Life Member of the George U. Potter Masonic Lodge #912, a 32 Degree Scottish Rites Mason and a Shriner. He was also a member of the Local Union #798 and the Black Mountain Baptist Church of Cave Creek AZ.

He is survived by four daughters: Misty (Dale) Ryals, Teresa Morgan, Lynn Sims and Charlene (Michael) Furby, and one son: Michael (Ashley) Sims; three sisters: Sue (Harman) Brannan, Dot Strickland and Mary Nicholson,; 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, special friend, Ray (Peggy) Ezell; friend, Heather Berchtold; friend, Samantha Gadesaude; friend, Kali Cook

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 2147 Rocky Creek Road, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Eric Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 16 from 10:00am-11:00am at Rocky Creek Baptist Church.
