Charles L Vise, Jr, age 63, of Lucedale passed away Friday, May 2, 2025 at home.  Mr. Vise was born July 4, 1961 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Charles L and the late Rachel Virginia (Chapman) Vise Sr. He married Diane Arnold on December 3, 1982.

He was a self-employed carpenter.

He is survived by his wife: Diane (Arnold) Vise; two sons: Charles L. Vise III and Michael Lee Arnold; 6 grandchildren: Rylee Arnold, Lundyn Arnold, Anniston Arnold, Tressie Vise, Conner Vise, and Emma Jean Vise; sisters: Sue Hathorn, Beth Zampiello, Rita Vise, and Angie Bufkin; special sister-in-law, Margaret Clark; brother-in-law, Leslie Arnold.

Predeceased by his parents: Charles L and the late Rachel Virginia (Chapman) Vise Sr; Grandparents: Mary Lou Chapman, Oren Vise, and Delphine Vise; and nephew, Bryce Clark.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Red Creek Missionary Church, 200 Red Creek Church Rd, Lucedale, MS. Burial will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 196 New Hope Church Rd, Lucedale, MS.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 10:00-11:00am at Red Creek Missionary Church, 200 Red Creek Church Rd, Lucedale, MS.

Pallbearers will include: Michael Lee, Charles III, Damion, Roy Dean, Tyrone, Dakota, and Lee Bufkin.
