Cicero Lavern "CL" Fairley, age 89, of Lucedale passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at home in Lucedale.  Mr. Fairley was born July 30, 1934 in Leaf, MS. He is the son of the late Neeley C. and the late Ida (Fillingam) Fairley.  He married Nell Fairley.

He was employed by International Paper as an operator. He was also a long time member of Movella Missionary Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge number 468 in Beaumont, MS.

He is survived wife, Nell Fairley; three daughters: Sandra Fairley of Moss Point, MS, Charlotte (Eddie) Yonge of Lucedale, MS and Lorri (Roger) Valentine of Seminole, AL; five grandchildren, Christopher (Andrea) Sherman of Hurley, MS, Katrina (Casey) Yates of Lucedale, MS, Ashley (Blake) Langley of Loxley, AL, Daniel (Amanda) Yonge of Lucedale, MS, Carrie (Morris) Everett of Lucedale, MS, Dana (Bobby) Brooke, and Kelsey Valentine; 13 Great Grandchildren; step daughter, Teresa McManus and her daughters.

Predeceased by his loving wife of 51 years, Sally Joyce Tanner Fairley; son-in-law, Danny Burnette; and 9 Brothers and Sisters.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Movella Baptist Church, 175 Movella Baptist Church Road, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Joey Reus, Rev. David Thomas, and Rev. Donald Brown officiating.  Burial will be in Movella Baptist Church Cemetery, Lucedale with Masonic Rites on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
