Clyde "Buddy" Warren Mizell, age 71, of Lucedale, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 at home in Lucedale.  Mr. Mizell was born July 8, 1952 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late John and the late Mattie Waters Mizell.  He married Gay Nell Jackson on September 5, 1980. She preceded him in death on May 25, 2019.

He was employed by Mobile County Maintenance Department as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 38 years.

He is survived by one daughter, Emily (Wade) Miller and one son, Jeremy Daniel Mizell; three grandchildren, Christopher Miller, Austin (Kristy) Miller and Bailey Miller; 3 great grandchildren; 8 brothers and sisters; a host of nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his brother, Pete Miller.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Rodney Livingston officiating.  Burial will be in Tanner Cemetery.
