Connie Maybell Stewart, age 83, of Lucedale, MS died Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Singing River Hospital of Pascagoula, MS. Mrs. Stewart was born February 17, 1939 in Jones County, MS. She is the daughter of the late William Chester Pitts and the late Clara Bell (Carroll) Pitts. She was a loving Homemaker, Mother, Grandmother and Sister.

She is survived by one daughter: Connie Keel Davis; one sister: Lezette Pitts Gray and one brother: Robert "Butch" Pitts; granddaughter, Darla Davis Taylor; granddaughter, Robin (Jason) Dees; granddaughter, Amanda (Chad) Shearer; Great Grandson, Preston (Lorena) Morris; Great Grandson, Patrick (Katelyn) Taylor; Great Grandson, Cameron Taylor; Great Grandson, Cole Taylor; great granddaughter, Kristin Shearer; great granddaughter, Bethany Carpenter; Great Great Grandchild, Makayla Morris; Great Great Grandchild, Ethan Morris.

Predeceased by her Son, Harvey Lamar Keel, 2 Infant Daughters, brother, Owen Pitts, Brother, Jimmy Pitts, brother, Willie Pitts, sister, Helen Craven, Sister, Myrtis "Tootsie" Davis Peacock, sister, Lenore Pitts, Mother, Clara Bell Carroll Pitts, and father, William Chester Pitts.

The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Alan Hinton and Rev. Eddie Pitts officiating. Burial will be in New Antioch Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.
