Craig Stephen Pierce, age 63, passed away on March 26, 2026. Mr. Pierce was born May 14, 1962 in Orlando FL, to the late Aubrey Lynnwood Pierce and the late Betty Lee Gibson Pierce. He married Shelly Haynes on October 23, 1993 and she preceded him in death on June 4, 2011. Craig was an avid knife collector, and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, as well as NHRA Drag racing. He was a hardworking man, with 42 years as a crane operator with Union Hall 653. He enjoyed gardening in his later years, and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Craig is survived by children: Sterling Pierce, Kelsey(Brad) Wilson, Cody Pierce, and Cameron Pierce; brother, Billy Dixon (Debrah Dixon); grandchildren: Hasleigh Wilson, Conner Johnson, Bryson Wilson, Stellin Pierce, Shelton Pierce, and Sterling Ray Pierce Jr.

Preceded in death by his wife, Shelly Haynes Pierce; parents, Aubrey Lynnwood and Betty Lee Pierce; brother, Terry Pierce.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 11:00AM at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St. Lucedale, MS.
