Daniel Isaac Kelley, 5 ½ months, of Lucedale passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS.  Daniel was born January 30, 2023 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of Daniel Mark Kelley and Chelsea McKinley.

He is survived by his father Daniel Mark Kelley and mother Chelsea McKinley; brothers, Samuel Mark Kelley II, Michael McKinley, Gabriel McKinley, and Noah McKinley; grandparents, Samuel Mark and Frances Kelley of Lucedale, MS; grandfather, Mark McKinley of Petal, MS; great grandfather, Eddie L. Kelley of Lucedale, MS; aunt, Kristie (Micah) Shiffer of Perkinston, MS; aunt, Nicole (Andrew) Barker of Lucedale, MS; cousins, Tristin, Lily, and Matthew Shiffer of Perkinston, MS and Galilee and Hayes Barker of Lucedale, MS; great uncle, James (Dianne) McClure of Lucedale, MS; great aunt, Ollie (Lee) Hancock of Lucedale, MS; great uncle, Paul McClure of Lucedale, MS; great uncle, Jerry (Annette) Kelley of Moss Point, MS; great aunt, Brenda (Ed) Ryan of Hattiesburg, MS. Pallbearers will be Randy McGee and Kelly Holland.

Predeceased by great grandmother, Clara Kelley and great aunt, Teresa Lewis.

A private family service was held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Red Creek Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Sam McClure officiating. Burial took place in Red Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations of stuffed animals and/or children's blankets be made to the George County Sheriffs' Dept or Lucedale Police Dept in Daniel's honor.
