Daniel Lee Tharpe, age 73, of Lucedale passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at home in Lucedale.  Mr. Tharpe was born October 26, 1951 in Birmingham, Alabama. He is the son of the late Lloyd and the late Marvie (Oden) Tharpe.

He was a member of Worldwide Church of God. He was an avid Alabama football fan.

He is survived by son, Kevin Lloyd Tharpe; mother of his son, Debra Larison; sister, Mitzi Tharpe Evans; sister, Barbara Tharpe Skold; sister, Nancy Tharpe Partridge; brother, Robert Tharpe; brother, Donnie Tharpe; stepdaughter, Cynthia McClendon; stepson, Micheal McCormick.

Predeceased by brother, Lloyd Tharpe Jr.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 1:00pm in Sigler Funeral Home Chapel, 4248 Main Street, Lucedale MS.      Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 pm Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
