Mr. David Alex Derring, age 30, of Lucedale, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 in Waynesboro, MS. Mr. Derring was born August 7, 1989 in Hattiesburg, MS. He is the son of David Barger and Connie Elkins. He was employed as a carpenter.

He is survived by his mother; Connie (Murdock) Elkins, his father David Barger, brother; Bradley Derring, sister; Mandie (Mason) Sonnier, daughter; Rilee Derring, and grandmother; Mavis Woods.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 11 am at Ellen Branch Gardens Cemetery, 148 Ellen Branch Road, Lucedale, MS 39452.
