David Carl Eaves, age 71, of Lucedale, MS died Monday, April 29, 2019 at home in Lucedale. Mr. Eaves was born July 31, 1947 in Shuqualak, MS. He is the son of the late Everett Glenn Eaves and the late Mary Kate (Boone) Eaves. He married Marie Howell on February 24, 1968 at Lynville, MS. He was a retired Pipefitter.

He is survived by his wife: Laura Marie (Howell) Eaves, two daughters: Kay (Brian) McLeod and Carla (Jacob) Williams, and one son: Jim Eaves; He also has eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. granddaughter, Allie Eaves; granddaughter, Kate Eaves; granddaughter, Lauren (Mack) Overstreet; granddaughter, Hannah Merritt; granddaughter, Jordan Merritt; grandson, Matthew (Chaston) Williams; grandson, Tyler Williams; grandson, Lane Williams; great granddaughter, Anneliese Williams; great granddaughter, Summer Overstreet.

Predeceased by his father-in-law, Rev. James E. Howell Sr., and mother-in-law, Katherine Howell

The funeral will be held 4:00 pm on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Stephen Howell officiating. Burial will be in Refuge Methodist Church Cemetery, Lucedale.
