David Carroll Hathorn, age 77, of Lucedale passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 in Lucedale, MS.  Mr. Hathorn was born August 14, 1946 in Leakesville, MS. He is the son of the late Jesse and the late Cammie (Hillman) Hathorn.

He was employed by oil field as a roustabout.

He is survived by one daughter: Shelby Gafford and two sons: Wayne (Giesla) Hathorn and Paul (Cindy) Gafford; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers: Prather (Frances) Hathorn and Robin (Sue) Hathorn.

Predeceased by: two daughters: Carol Hinton and Shelia Gafford; one sister, Sherry Hendrix.
