Derek Stewart Schmidt, age 57, of Mobile, AL passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 at home in Mobile.  Mr. Schmidt was born June 13, 1967. He is the son of the late Barbara Johnson Schmidt.

He was employed in air conditioning maintenance.

He is survived by two sons, Domnicke Schmidt and Michael Anthony Schmidt; one brother, Dennis Schmidt

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Eric Danner officiating.
