Dillie Miriam McCommon, age 85, of Mobile, AL died Sunday, December 11, 2016 at
Providence Hospital of Mobile, AL. Mrs. McCommon was born May 26, 1931 in Semmes, AL.
She is the daughter of the late Charlie Roscoe and the late Eva (Edwards) Pardon. She married
Roy L. McCommon on April 12, 1952. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy L.
McCommon on July 26, 2008.
She was a retired Secretary.
She is survived by one daughter: Teresa (David) MacMillan of Huntsville, AL and one son: Roy
Alan McCommon of Pascagoula, MS; two sisters: Jeanie Moody and Del Roberts,; She also has
five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. granddaughter, Katherine Anderson; grandson,
Jonathan McCommon; granddaughter, Haley Jones; grandson, Adam MacMillan;
granddaughter, Lindsay MacMillan; great granddaughter, Oliva Anderson; great granddaughter,
Claire Anderson; great granddaughter, Chloe Jones; great grandson, Hudson Jones.
Predeceased by her sister, Helen Fairley, sister, Betty Hinton, sister, Faye Hill, brother, Carl

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, December 15 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248
Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. John Turner officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Baptist
Church Cemetery.
