Dolly Elizabeth Nichelson, age 77, of Wilmer, AL formerly of Lucedale, MS. passed away Monday, May 19, 2025, at University Medical Center in Mobile, AL.  Mrs. Nichelson was born December 30, 1947, in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Floyd and the late Graice (Smith) Weaver.  She married Charlie Nichelson on February 27, 1963.

She was a homemaker and member of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. Nichelson loved birds and flowers. She also loved her family, husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister, nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband: Charlie Nichelson, three daughters: Cynthia "Cindy" Smith, Elizabeth "Michelle" Ethridge and Joy Renee Nichelson, and four sons: Billy Eugene Nichelson, Richard Ferrill Nichelson, Christopher Keith Nichelson and Lance Earl Bennett; sister: Gloria Jean Huber. She also has 27 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her son, Charlie "DeWayne" Nichelson and parents, Floyd and Graice Weaver.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Wilbert Reed officiating.  The burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 5:00pm-7:00pm and Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 9:00am-10:00am at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS
