Dorothy Leggett Edwards, age 87, of Lucedale died Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at George
Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Edwards was born July 25, 1929 in
Waynesboro, MS. She is the daughter of the late Jeff and the late Dessie (Newell) Stevens.

She was employed by Century Bank as a Supply Manager.

She is survived by one daughter: Janice (Troy) Grant and two sons: Johnny (Shirley) Leggett
and Stephen (Susan) Leggett; 9 Grandchildren: Missy Helton, Amy (Ryan) Bounds, Pam
(Philip) Carter, Jeff Grant, Jason Grant, Sarah (Dustin) Baker, Katie White, Samantha (Cole)
Holley, Kody (Morgan) Leggett; 23 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her daughter, Paula Nell Leggett, daughter, Joyce Reanee Leggett, daughter,
Dessie Leggett, 1st Husband, John Clifton Leggett, 2nd Husband, James "Red" Edwards, and
parents, Jeff & Dessie Stevens.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Friday, June 30 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St.,
Lucedale, MS with Rev. Curtis Leggett officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery,
Lucedale on Friday, June 30 at 12:00 pm.
