Dorothy Dean Pilkington, age 84, of Lucedale passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024. Mrs. Pilkington was born December 19, 1939 in Morgan City, AL. She is the daughter of the late Carl Hubert and the late Trixie Earlene (Clark) McGill.  She married Donald Steve Pilkington.

Before retiring, she was an office clerical worker.

She is survived by two sisters: Doris Jan Neal and Sarepta Carol Martin; two brothers: Dennis McGill and Terry McGill; step children: Steve (Alicia) Pilkington, Pat (Sherry) Pilkington, David P. (Dru) Pilkington, Rondald D. (Mitzy) Pilkington, and Theresa (Bobby) Ward; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her sisters: Peggy Murray, Juanita Miller, and Carley Jo Watson.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Ken Hembree officiating.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.
