Doy DeWain May, age 85, of Lucedale passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Providence
Hospital of Mobile, AL. Mr. May was born April 12, 1932 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the
late Moses Tillman and the late Lula T. (Havard) May. He married Nancy Mavis Havard on
October 25, 1952. He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy Mavis Havard May on July 16,
2014.Five brothers and Four sisters also predeceased him.

He served in the Army, Navy and National Guards. He was employed by the Civil Service as
a(n) Fire Fighter. Mr. May was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by two daughters: Elaine May (Roy) Murray and Eileen May Garnto, and two
sons: Dewayne (Chyrel) May and Paul May, 8 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; brotherin-
law, Lonnie (Thelma) Havard; sister-in-law, Reida May; special cousins, Raymond (Willene)
Smith and Marie Thomley, numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main
St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Greg Barker officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery.
