Edith Maxine Davis, age 75, of Lucedale passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at
home in Lucedale. She is the daughter of the late Johnny C. and the late Maude (Moody)
Rhymes. She married Nathan Hilburn Davis on May 7, 1960.
She was a Home Maker.
She is survived by her husband: Nathan Hilburn Davis, two daughters: Gwen (Joe) Kittrell and
Misty (Andy) Hobby, and one son: Mike (Jeanni) Davis; brother: John W. Rhymes; 11
Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents: Johnny C. Rhymes and Maude (Moody) Rhymes and a daughter,
Nina Lynn Salisbury.
The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Sigler Funeral Home, with
Bro. R. D. Byrd officiating. Burial will be in Davis Moody Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.
