Edith Elizabeth Sauar, age 79, of Lucedale died Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Leakesville
Rehab & Nursing Center of Leakesville, MS. Mrs. Sauar was born November 4, 1936 in
Douglas, AZ. She is the daughter of the late Eutharah Harold and the late Ethel Elizabeth
(Stinebrinsy) Childers.
She served in the Army during the Korean War from Sept. 1952 to 9/29/1955. She was
employed as a Legal Secretary.
She is survived by three daughters: Raynhild C. Sauar, Anita Omvang, Britt Sauar and two
sons: Scott (Sherry) Bradley, Vance Edward Bradley; one sister: Lucida P. Heft and one brother:
Wayne Childers ; She also has seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Monday, February 22 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main
St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Larry White officiating. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery,
Biloxi on Tuesday, March 22 at 1:30 pm.
