Edner Vee Corley, age 88, of Lucedale passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025 at home in Lucedale.  Mrs. Corley was born October 4, 1937 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Edwin and the late Virgie Mae (Newbill) Vise.  She married Carroll Harrison Corley on May 18, 1957; he preceded her in death on July 15, 1989.

She was a member of Red Creek Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She owned Edner's Butcher Block in Agricola for many years and she worked at many convenient stores over the years, including Agricola Mercantile, Agricola Quick Stop, and Courtyard Lane before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, maintaining her flowers and yard. She was a #1 Mammaw. She loved people and treated everyone with kindness and respect. She will  be missed by many.

She is survived by one daughter, Sheila (David) Turner; grandchildren, Grant Harrison (Hannah) Turner, Avery Turner (Rodney) Booth; great grandchildren, Jackson David Turner; Sarah Catherine Booth, Grayson Michael Turner, Jacob Ryan Booth, Emma Grace Turner; siblings, Virginia Blanchard and Mack Vise.

Predeceased by her husband, Carroll Harrison Corley; siblings, Willie Mae Sellers, Juanice Hill, and Harvey Vise.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Pete' Harrell and Teresa Broadus officiating. Burial will be in Pineview Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
