Eltroy Howell, age 64, of Chattanooga, TN, died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at University of Alabama Birmingham of Birmingham, AL. Mr. Howell was born September 17, 1953 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late William A. Howell and the late Roxie V. (King) Howell.

He was a retired School Teacher, teaching in several school systems, including the George County School System and the Jackson County School System.

He is survived by; three sisters: Corliss Howell, Dianne Howell and Wanda (John) Watson and one brother: Charlie (Elvie) Howell; nephew, Will Howell; nephew, Leo Howell; nephew, Ed (Tiffani) Howell; niece, Amber (Trey) Roberts; nephew, Jesse (Whitney) Watson; 8 great grandnieces and great grandnephews.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 14146 Hwy 26 West, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Mitch Osborne officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery, Lucedale.

Calling hours will be Friday, December 29 from 5:00-9:00pm at Shady Grove Baptist.
