Eugene Robertson, age 81, of Lucedale died Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at home in Lucedale. Mr. Robertson was born February 23, 1937 in Hattiesburg, MS. He is the son of the late Charles Judson and the late Nina Irene (Sledge) Robertson. He was a retired River Boat Captain.
Mr. Robertson was a pilot in the U.S. Airforce.

He is survived by two daughters: Tyfanae S. Brinke, Tyrae S. Cooley and step daughter: Shanon Jerrells, and two sons: Michael A. Robertson, Edward E. Robertson, step son: Johnny N. Kitchens, eight sisters: Sarah Lakey, Elna Garner, Sherrill Camp, Nina Stanley, Dorothy Fennell, Mary Fennell, Ramona Reus and Margarete Williams, and three brothers: James F Robertson, Artha D. Robertson and Virgil D. Robertson; Samantha Stuart who he loved like a daughter. 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his Father, Charley J. Robertson, Mother, Nina Irene Sledge, sister, Sally Bostain, sister, Martha Cooper, Brother, Charles J. Robertson, Brother, Benjamin A. Robertson, Brother, Aubrey R. Robertson, and brother, Johnathon R. Robertson.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.
